About PNG to WebP
PNG is great for graphics, but its files can be heavy. WebP can keep the see-through background and still make a far smaller file, which suits logos, icons and website graphics.
Results vary with the picture. Photos stored as PNG shrink the most. Saving WebP in Slimfile needs a browser that supports it, such as Chrome, Edge or Firefox.
